It was a pleasant night. I had the opportunity to meet XiaoHui, my high school, last night. I seldom on my MSN since last year cuz' of the disconnection of MSN's quite frequent. Indeed, I had a informative and productive conversation with her.
Yea, XiaoHui has been further her higher education in Taiwan since mid of 2007. I still remembered that a bundle of us did the farewell with her at the airport. At first, she didn't seem to tell us the departure time for us, but in the end, we were able to find her and know her departure time. haha. It's so memorable.
She's now studying degree in history, if I'm not mistaken, and going to graduate soon in Aug 2010. Wow, it seems that time flies all the time. Just as our conversation last night, we almost spent 4 hours to chit chat a lot things.
In term of information, she helped a lot. Due to my sister's going to pursue her study to Taiwan as well, I was asking many things about Taiwan, such as the quality of university, the popular ones, living lifestyle, cultural thingy, etc. I really got what I wanted to tell my sister now. Besides, she's also willing to help me up with my Chinese resume, since that I've long time never write in formal, she's helpful.
Furthermore, she's a friendly person. Most of the thing we chit-chat about our high school mates and our daily life in different country. Me, myself, was sharing the opinion from the perspective of KL while she was sharing about the Taiwan young adult and Taiwanese' favorites activities. We also discussed about the difference between Taiwanese and Malaysian. Just as me, Malaysia, we spend time for activities besides, going to church, online at home, shopping at store, we seem that we don't have any other activities. As she shared, Taiwanese, they love weekend especially. They like to have a trip such as jungle trekking, health walk, etc. It seems that Taiwanese's more treasure their life than ever. They know how to enjoy it.
I have no issue against anything by saying such long-winded opinions. I just feel like maybe we could do something else out of ordinary, could't we? Just as what I always said that be more international and open-minded. So that we can learn from each other.
TQ,
ray.
